Anna Kendrick (“Jessica Stanley” in The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse) has just won the 2010 MTV Movie Award for “Best Breakout Star” for her work as “Natalie” in Up In The Air!

The role, which earned her recognition at the Oscars, People’s Choice, Critic’s Choice, Golden Globes, and any other number of prestigious nominations, apparently did not make her “cool enough to win an MTV Movie Award,” she said.

Continued Kendrick, “I’m not going to mess it up by talking too much. This is the coolest moment ever. This is going on my coffee table. Thank you so much!”

Congratulations to Anna Kendrick!

She beat out Chris Pine (Star Trek), Gabourey Sidibe (Precious), Logan Lerman (Percy Jackson And The Olympians: The Lightning Thief), Quinton Aaron (The Blind Side), and Zach Galifianakis (The Hangover) for the award.

UPDATE: Anna Kendrick just tweeted about the win, saying “Holy crap! I actually won something and I have a cold that makes me sound like a toddler! Still so happy!! Yay!!! :)”
